01. About the workshop

This one-day workshop provides a glimpse into how machine learning (ML) can be used for creative projects. It gives an overview over different ML techniques and models that can be used to enhance creative projects in web and print.

After an intro into the basics of ML, participants will learn how to use simple machine learning tools such as ml5.js and Runway to create interactive machine learning applications in the browser.

No programming skills are needed, but a basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) will help. Every participant needs to bring a laptop.

02. Workshop format

The workshops will be held in English or German, depending on the participants. I am curious to try out new stuff with you, based on what you want to learn. I like to enjoy myselves while learning and teaching, so the idea is to hold the workshops in a rather informal setting.
