Data journalism

Airbnb vs. Berlin is a data journalism project about the impact of short-term housing rental platforms on the supply of affordable housing in Berlin. The project was the result of the course »From Reading to Exploring – Visuelles Geschichten­erzählen im Datenjournalismus« at the FH Potsdam and was done together with Jonas Parnow and Lucas Vogel.

The project was widely featured in the German media, amongst others by: Zeit Online (1,2), Die ZEIT, Süddeutsche ZeitungTagesspiegel, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Wired, Wired (Interview)Vice, netzpolitik.orgRadio Eins and detektor.fm.
